Launch evenings and store openings · Paris
Your guests discover the product on the evening you chose, in the set and the light you imagined. We produce the night, from the first meeting to the get-out.
A new product meets its first audience at a product launch event: a launch evening, a store opening or the private presentation of a collection. Luxury houses, companies and event agencies hand these events to Prodbox, an event production company in Paris, and the team Boris Malesset leads brings more than thirty years of experience in shows and events to each one.

A launch evening turns on one moment, when your guests see the product for the first time. We write the running order minute by minute and cue the lighting and music for the reveal. On the night, the show caller follows that thread while you receive your guests. We give the drinks reception before and the dinner after the same attention.
A fragrance launch event or a collection preview gathers a few guests around a scent they try on the wrist, or pieces they look at up close and hold in their hands. Each world has its own customs, from fragrance and beauty to high jewellery, fine watchmaking and champagne, and we build the evening around them. Your visuals stay confidential until the night itself, because your confidentiality rules apply throughout. If you would like to follow a presentation with a dinner, we produce that as well.
For a store opening, you welcome your clients for an evening, before the shop opens to the public or in its first days. For a shorter presence, you can open a pop-up store for a few days or a season, which we cover under luxury brand activation. If the shop is already trading during the day, we fit the build around its closing hours, and your guests walk into a finished set that evening. The stage and the room dressing come from our event set design work.
A production schedule starts from the launch date and works back to the brief. Timings vary with the build and the venue, while the order of the stages stays the same.
Depending on the size of your launch, allow anywhere from six weeks to twelve months between our first meeting and the day itself.
To present a product to your clients during their winter holidays, we produce evenings and presentations in Val d'Isère and Tignes. We plan deliveries and the build on site, around the snow and each resort's calendar.
You set the product, the date and the audience, and we build the production from a schedule worked back from the launch. Feasibility study, specification, choice of suppliers, build and installation follow in turn, up to the show calling on the night.
It depends on the venue, the permissions and the sets to build: the more bespoke the build, the earlier you start. At the first meeting, we draw up the schedule that fixes the deadline for each decision.
It depends on the number of guests, the venue, the sets and the technical production. We cost it line by line from your brief, then negotiate each supplier's quote to stay within the budget agreed with you.
Yes, and Prodbox produces store openings too, directly for the house or in support of the event agencies that design them. If the shop is already trading, we fit the build around its closing hours, so your guests walk into a finished set.
Yes. Your confidentiality rules apply from the first drawing until the product appears before your guests.
The product and its message remain yours. The production is ours, from the feasibility study to the show calling: specification, budget, choice of suppliers and price negotiation, technical drawings, lighting design and crews. Meanwhile, you concentrate on what your guests will discover. Launches sit alongside the rest of our luxury event production in Paris.
We have produced fragrance launches, cuvée launches, collection presentations and press previews.
