Champagne, wine and spirits · Paris
The cellar master talks through the blend while your guests taste a champagne served at the right temperature. We produce these evenings in Paris for champagne, wine and spirits houses.
Private tastings, pop-up bars, evenings hosted by the house, cuvée launches and dinners: Prodbox produces champagne events, along with wine and spirits events, in Paris for houses that host their guests. They hand us the production directly, or through the event agencies that support them. From the counter at a tasting to the stage of a large evening, our team draws on more than thirty years of experience.
A private tasting calls for a quiet room and precise service. We hold the bottles at the right temperature all evening and choose the glasses with the house, a flute or a wider wine glass depending on what it wants your guests to taste. We keep the room clear of strong smells, scented candles and heady flowers included. The cellar master or oenologist talks about the blend and the reserve wines, and discreet sound carries the voice to the back row. The Comité Champagne, the trade body that brings together the growers and the houses, presents the appellation on its official website.
We build a pop-up bar as we would a stage set, with its wings. Front of house, your guests see the counter designed for the house, the light and the rows of glasses. Behind it, we plan the cooling, ice, water, power, glass washing and stock. We design the counter, oversee its construction and put together the service teams, then we organise the flow so that queues at the bar stay short. For a format lasting several weeks, we produce a pop-up store in Paris, with its own formalities.
A champagne evening brings your clients together around a dinner, a concert or a show, in a venue transformed for the occasion. Shows are part of our trade: we set the stage, the sound, the lighting and the artists' slots to the cue sheet of the evening, from the first glass to the last song. A large seated dinner becomes a gala dinner; the presentation of a new cuvée follows the pattern of a product launch event, with its reveal and first tasting.
Champagne, wine and spirits sit alongside fragrance and high jewellery in our luxury events in Paris.
Champagne and spirits houses have entrusted us with private tastings, pop-up bars, evenings hosted by the house and cuvée launches.
For your house's next evening, tell us about your project.
We start from your project: the cuvée or range to present, the date, the number of guests, the atmosphere you want. Once feasibility is confirmed, we write the specifications and the budget with you.
On the site visit, we check what the venue allows: delivery access, power, water, room for cooling and glass washing. Next come the technical plans, the lighting, the building of the counter and sets, the choice of suppliers and the price negotiation.
On the night, the production manager follows the cue sheet, from the first glass poured to the last speech. Once the guests have left, the crew take everything down, collect the remaining stock and hand the venue back as we found it.
In France, the Loi Évin governs the advertising of alcoholic drinks. We design the materials, signage and sets of the event with your teams, within this framework. At the bar, we provide water and alcohol-free drinks until the end of the evening, and we plan with you how your guests get home.
Prodbox, an event production company based in Paris, produces tastings, pop-up bars and evenings for champagne, wine and spirits houses, directly or with the event agencies that support them. The team you choose has to handle the champagne service and the show calling of the evening with the same care.
