High jewellery and fine watchmaking · Paris
Your clients study a parure up close and follow a movement through a loupe. We produce the exhibitions and private presentations in Paris where they can take that time.
In Paris, Prodbox produces high jewellery events and fine watchmaking events: exhibitions, private presentations, collection launches and evenings for the clients of a house. We produce them strictly within your confidentiality rules, directly for the houses or in support of event agencies. Our team brings more than thirty years of experience in shows and events.
A stone changes with the light that touches it. For a high jewellery exhibition, we design the lighting display case by display case: a cool, pinpoint light brings out the fire of a diamond, and a warmer one gives depth to yellow gold. We also deal with reflections in the glass and the height of the pieces, so the visitor's eye goes straight to them.
We can build your secure display cases to your specification, and we take care of the sets and furniture, their storage and logistics included, through our network. The transport and security of the pieces stay with your house: its security department handles the CCTV and the safes, from hire through to installation. For moving the safes into place, we can supply load-spreading plates or prop the floors below.
At a watchmaking exhibition, we invite your visitors to lean in towards the movement: loupes, cases at eye level, bare movements on display and, if the house wishes, a workbench where a watchmaker shows the craft. We work out the exhibition design and the route with you, then oversee the making of the mounts and the installation. The website of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie keeps a glossary of watchmaking terms, useful when you write labels that all your visitors can follow.
A private presentation brings a few clients together around a collection, in the boutique or in a venue chosen with you. The pieces pass from their velvet tray to the wrist or neck of your guests, in front of a mirror. We produce these moments with light that flatters the skin and a flexible cue sheet, set to the pace of your advisers.
When a collection or a watch comes out, we produce the product launch event, then the window display design and boutique sets that accompany the season. We keep the collection secret from the first sketch to the get-out. Jewellery and watchmaking are part of our luxury events in Paris, alongside fragrance and champagne.
For high jewellery and watchmaking houses, we have produced collection presentations, gala dinners for their clients and exhibitions.
When a collection is in preparation, tell us about your project from the first sketches.
We start from your collection, the dates and your security requirements. The feasibility study comes first, then the specifications and the budget, which we draw up with you.
Next come the venue visit, the technical plans, the lighting design, the drawing of the display cases and the building of the sets. We select the suppliers, negotiate the prices and put together the crew.
During the build, the pieces arrive last, once the cases are in place and the lamps focused; we then refine the lighting with the pieces in position. At the get-out, they leave first, before the crew touch the set. In between, the production manager follows each day of the exhibition.
The collection, its story, the transport and security of the pieces and the relationship with your clients stay with the house. Prodbox takes on the rest of the production: choosing and managing suppliers, budget, technical plans, lighting, crews and show calling, with costs under control until the get-out. During the exhibition, your advisers can give their full attention to your clients.
Prodbox produces these exhibitions and the private presentations of jewellery and watchmaking houses in Paris, directly or for the event agencies that support them. Look for a production team that knows how to light a stone and fits its build to your security arrangements from the first sketch.
