Windows and boutique sets · Paris
A passer-by slows down in front of the window, then pushes open the door. We produce the windows and boutique sets of luxury houses, for a season, the festive period or a launch.
For luxury houses in Paris, Prodbox produces window display design and boutique sets: seasonal windows, Christmas windows, launch windows and boutique dressing for the length of an event. We follow each window from the 3D view to the installation, then through to the get-out, with a team that has worked in shows and events for more than thirty years.

A luxury shop window works like a small theatre stage, with its own set and lighting. Passers-by look at it head-on, from a few steps away, sometimes from across the street: we draw the set for those viewpoints, with the product at eye level. By day the glass reflects the street, and you need enough light to cut through it. After dark, the passer-by discovers the set like a stage seen from the auditorium.
A house prepares its Christmas windows several months ahead: drawing, 3D views, lighting tests, building, sometimes mechanisms to bring the set to life. We build the schedule with you, working back from the installation date. Seasonal windows follow the same path on a shorter calendar, to the rhythm of the collections and the calendar of the house.
Your visual merchandising team chooses the products and where they go. We work from the team's drawings, or draw the set and lighting around the products with them, then we oversee the making of a set that lasts the whole season. On these temporary sets, the retail design work begins with you from the 3D views, so the window, the boutique interior and the launch evening echo one another.
A window often extends a launch: the one for a new fragrance accompanies the fragrance and beauty events of the house. Inside, we produce temporary sets as we do any event set design, from the drawing to the get-out. And when the occasion leaves the boutique for another address, we produce a pop-up store in Paris.
We install the window outside opening hours, in the evening or overnight, at times agreed with your boutique. Designed by us and built by our partner workshops, the sets arrive ready to install, with the lighting already adjusted in the workshop, so the build on site stays short; in the morning, your clients find the window finished. We produce each window with the tools of corporate event production: feasibility study, technical plans, selection of suppliers and supervision of the installation.
For your next windows, tell us about your project as soon as the season takes shape.
We start from your brief and the collection to present, then we take the measurements of the window: width, depth, height, access from inside the boutique. The drawing and 3D views come next, adjusted with your visual merchandising team until they are approved.
We write the specifications, build the budget and select the suppliers and materials. The technical plans fix the position of each element and each light source. After the build, we carry out a trial assembly and a lighting test in the workshop, to adjust the colours before installation.
The installation takes place at the times agreed with the boutique, and we return for the get-out on the agreed date.
A window set stays under the lamps for several weeks, often behind glass exposed to the sun. We choose materials suited to the boutique's fire safety rules and lighting that gives off little heat, to protect the leather, textiles and bottles on display. We plan fixings that hold all season and come away leaving walls and floors unmarked.
Prodbox is an event production company, and we produce the windows and boutique sets of luxury houses: the same team handles the design of the set, its build and its installation, working closely with your visual merchandising team.
Several months before the festive period. The drawing, 3D views, build and lighting tests all take time, and we build the schedule with you, working back from the installation date.
Yes. We install and remove windows at the times agreed with your boutique, in the evening or overnight if needed, so your clients find the window finished at opening time.
Yes, for temporary sets: windows, boutique dressing, launch or seasonal sets, which we produce with your visual merchandising team.
Whatever the design calls for, within the boutique's fire safety rules: fire-treated wood, metal, glass, resin, paper or textile. We combine them with lighting that gives off little heat, to protect the products on display.
