Fragrance and beauty · Paris
On the night of the launch, your guests discover the fragrance in a place and a light chosen for it. We produce these events for beauty houses in Paris.
Prodbox produces fragrance events and beauty events in Paris: fragrance launches, exhibitions, pop-up stores, evenings for the press or for your clients, skincare and make-up presentations. We work for beauty houses and for the event agencies that support them. With experience in shows and events that goes back to 1994, our team prepares the reveal of a fragrance as it would prepare an entrance on stage.

Your guests meet a fragrance through the nose, before they read its name. For a fragrance launch, we start with the air in the venue: a well-ventilated room, flowers with little scent, a menu chosen with the caterer to leave the fragrance all the room it needs, and blotters ready where the route slows down. We then set the lighting to show the colour of the fragrance as it looks in the bottle, and we keep the lamps at a good distance so the fragrance stays cool.
Then comes the reveal: on cue, the crew bring in light and music, and the house takes the floor.
At a beauty event, your guests try a cream or compare two shades on the back of a hand. We design testing areas for them, with lit mirrors, light that stays true to skin tones, water points and storage for the testers. When the house launches a cosmetic product, the same team produces the product launch event, the demonstration area and, if you wish, the window display design of the boutiques that receive the new product.
A house sometimes tells the story of a fragrance over several weeks: the history of a bottle, or the perfumer's work on raw materials. Your visitors enter this story room by room through exhibition design, or come across it in the street for a season, when the house opens a pop-up store in Paris. In both cases we design the route with you, oversee the building of the sets, then install it all and take it down on the agreed date.
A house often keeps the name of a new fragrance, and its bottle, out of sight until the reveal. We work strictly within your confidentiality rules, and we apply them to each person on the project, from the set workshop to the show crew. We keep the same discretion on all our luxury events in Paris, from fragrance to high jewellery.
For fragrance and beauty houses, we have produced fragrance launches, exhibitions, pop-up stores and press presentations.
For your next fragrance, tell us about your project.
It all starts with your project: the fragrance, its story, the date, the number of guests, the atmosphere you imagine. We carry out the feasibility study, then write the specifications and build the budget with you.
Next come the venue visit, the technical plans, the lighting design and the building of the set. We select the suppliers, negotiate the prices and put together the crew for the day.
On the night, the production manager follows the cue sheet, from the arrival of the first guests to the reveal of the fragrance. Once the last guest has left, the crew take everything down and hand the venue back in the condition agreed.
The story of the fragrance and your messages stay in your hands. We manage the suppliers and budgets, the technical plans, the lighting, the crews, the project tracking and the show calling, with costs under control. You give your time to the content of the launch, and we keep you informed at each stage, from the first sketch to the get-out.
Prodbox, an event production company in Paris, produces fragrance launches for beauty houses and for the event agencies that support them. Look for a team that leaves the fragrance all the room it needs, in the air and in the light, and keeps the secret until the reveal.
Fragrance and cosmetic product launches, exhibitions, pop-up stores, evenings, and skincare or make-up presentations. We also produce the windows and boutique sets that accompany a launch.
Yes. We also produce for event agencies: we then take on the production, the suppliers and the show calling, working closely with their teams and with the house.
We work strictly within your confidentiality rules. We apply them to the whole production team and to each supplier on the project, until the night of the reveal.
The timing depends above all on the venue and on the set to be built. Contact us as soon as the date takes shape: we build the schedule with you, working back from the day itself, and you keep a wider choice of venues and suppliers.
